Senior Project Engineer Subsea / Offshore

Your role as Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer you will become the technical backbone of our offshore energy cable installation projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams in the realisation of complex cable installation, excavation and repair solutions for offshore wind farms in international waters. In this position, you will translate technical challenges into innovative solutions, guide the next generation of engineers and ensure that project delivery meets the highest industry standards.

• Technical leadership: You provide expert guidance on energy cable installation methods, equipment selection and project execution strategies for offshore wind projects;
• Engineering delivery: You prepare, assess and approve technical documentation, drawings and calculations that contribute to successful project results;
• Team development: You supervise and train junior engineers and build technical competencies within the project team;
• Customer collaboration: You participate in customer consultations, assess technical specifications and ensure that deliverables meet customer requirements and industry standards;
• Innovation support: You stay up to date with new technologies in the field of cable installation and excavation methods and contribute to the development of next-generation solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Energy Engineering or equivalent technical direction;
• At least 5 years of proven experience with offshore energy cable installation projects within the renewable energy sector;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for technical detail;
• Excellent English communication skills for international project environments;
• Willingness to travel occasionally for ship mobilizations and offshore operations.
