Are you ready to optimize the logistics chain in international bulk transport?
Your role as logistics coordinator
As a Logistics Coordinator, you act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders in transport operations: from suppliers and producers to transport companies and end customers. You are responsible for efficiently planning and monitoring bulk goods transport via tank containers and intermodal solutions. You contribute to operational improvements by analysing trends, identifying bottlenecks and proposing process optimisations based on performance indicators.
What are you gonna do?
- Planning & Scheduling: Entering transport orders into our planning system and selecting the most cost-effective route solutions;
- Operational Coordination: Allocation of transport capacity, coordination with terminal operators and customer communication;
- Stakeholder Management: Daily contact with external Transport Partners, storage facilities and commercial contacts;
- Issue Resolution: Proactively solving logistical challenges and minimizing operational disruptions;
- Data Management: Registration of transport data, cost allocation and preparation of invoicing processes.
What are you bringing?
- Completed MBO/HBO education with 2-4 years of relevant work experience in transport or supply chain management;
- Result-oriented work style with strong ownership and initiative;
- Commercial insight combined with analytical skills and customer focus;
- Experience with both operational processes and improvement initiatives;
- Fluent command of Dutch and English, oral and written.
